Changing the sound mode
Notes:
"
The sound mode is changed to "STANDARD" by pressing the DYNAMIC SOUND
button whilst in the stereo or surround mode.
"
When the DOLBY DIGITAL or DTS indicator is lit, you cannot select the surround
mode.
"
Some discs are recorded at 96kHz of sampling frequency. When this type of disc
is played, the sound mode is changed to "STEREO" automatically. The sound
mode cannot be changed during its playback.
To enjoy in the standard mode:
Example: Dolby Digital 5.1ch
Whilst the disc is playing, press the STANDARD but-
ton.
"STANDARD" will appear.
To enjoy with dynamic sound in the standard mode:
Whilst the disc is playing, press the DYNAMIC SOUND button.
Each press of this button changes the mode in the order of "MOVIE" "MUSIC"
"NIGHT".
Press the STANDARD button to restore the normal surround sound.
To enjoy in the surround or stereo mode:
Whilst the disc is playing, press the STEREO/SUR-
ROUND button.
"SURROUND" or "STEREO" will appear.
Each time you press the button, the display switches
between "SURROUND" and "STEREO".
