(5) Precautions in adjustment
Do not operate the remote controller and set's switches during adjustment.
Be sure to finally turn off and on again the AC power to reflect the adjustments on the video signals.
This adjustment does not involve the backlight control. To make the backlight setting, get to the specified AV
position.
Even when a pattern is displayed, the onscreen display may still remain on. Before starting the adjustment,
make sure the onscreen display disappears.
(6) Remote controller
Press the same key again, and the pattern disappears.

10. Initialization to factory settings
Caution: When initialization is performed, all user setting data including the channel settings are
initialized. Be cautious when making this adjustment.
(The adjustments done in the adjustment process mode are not initialized.)

Initialization
Enter the adjustment process mode.
Bring the cursor on to [INDUSTRY INIT] in page 2/14.
Set to [ON] using [VOL] key, and press [ENTER] to execute the
initialization.
When the initialization is complete, the adjustment process mode screen is
automatically replaced by the TV's screen.
* Never shut off the power during the initialization process.
The following settings are initialized in this adjustment.
1. User setting
2. Channel data (e.g. broadcast frequencies)
3. Operation time
4. Maker's optional setting
5. Password data
After the adjustment, cancel the adjustment process mode.
To exit the adjustment process mode, unplug the AC cord from the outlet to make a forced
shutdown. (When the power was turned off with the remote controller, once unplug the AC cord
and plug it again. In this case, wait 10 seconds or so before plugging.)
