Searching for an auto-dial number
If you don’t remember the Rapid Key or Speed Dial number in which
you have programmed a particular fax number or e-mail recipient, you
can search for the number by following the steps below. Once you
have found the number, you can dial and transmit the document by
simply pressing the
START
key. (Note: To search for an e-mail
recipient, your Color MFP must be connected to your computer and
the computer must be turned on.)

Load the document face up in the auto
document feeder (max. 10 pages).

Set the resolution and/or contrast if
desired.

Press the
SEARCH
key.

If desired, you can enter the first letter
of the name programmed in the Speed
Dial number (press the number key
below the marked letter one or more
times until the letter appears in the
display) to begin your search from
names beginning with that letter. If
the name begins with a special
character or number, press
1
(only for
auto-dial numbers).
