7. Static focus adjustment
Adjustment preparation
(1) The raster inclination, centering, horizontal/vertical amplitude and optical/electrical focus beam alignment
should have been adjusted.
(2) Set video conditions to standard mode.
(3) Receive the cross-hatch pattern signal.
(4) Apply covers to the lenses of colors other than the color to be adjusted and project a single color.
Adjustment procedure
(1) Red (R), Green (G) and Blue (B) static focus adjustment.Vary the static
focus VR (focus pack) and make the center of the cross-hatch pattern
clearest.
(2) Observe the corners of the picture and check that the focus does not get
conspicuously worse. Re-Adjust for good corner focus as required.

list at factory.
Press Display button, then above list is
displayed, and verify the number to be in
the list without replacement of convergence
unit. It will be not necessarily to change the
phase number as adjustment procedure.
8. Phase adjustment (service mode C01)
Perform only if conv. module is replaced or data shown is not correct values.
Adjustment preparation
(1) PHASE adjustment — This is to match the digital convergence cursor position to the video image displayed,
and to match the digital convergence cursor position (dotted lines) to digital convergence data position (bent
lines) apply signal.
Data adjustment procedure
Enter service mode "C01"="1"
(1) Press the A button on the remote to select phase adjustment. (Only Green displayed)
(2) Press display key.
(3) Use remote control keys to change phase mode data.
(4) Press A (phase adj.), and use 2,4,5 and 6 to set data.
(5) Press display key.
(6) Press A to exit PHASE mode.
(7) Press D key 2 times.
(8) Press "MUTE" key on remote control unit.
(9) Press "TWIN PICTURE Input" key and hold.
(10) Exit the service mode.
