DEFINITION OF TERMS

Extended Pseudo
Stereo (EPS)

Extended Spatial
Stereo (ESS)

AVL

The Incredible Mono module (I-Mono) generates two channels from one mono input
signal. When the sound of the mono input signal is processed, the listener gets the
impression that the sound is essentially a stereo signal.

The listener gets the impression of a sound reproduced by two virtual speakers,
positioned at a larger distance between each other than between the actual
speakers. So, the stereo image is expanded by this widening sound effect.

The AVL reduces the audio input signal in the MAIN channel (L, R) to a selectable
maximum output level if it exceeds this level at the input of the stage.
