the tension of the outer knob/wheel clamping, loosening the adjusting lever from the current position
and putting it into the desired position. After setting back the outer clamping knob securely.
Changing the front cover plate
If the front cover plate damaged, scratched or dotted with holes, replace it.
Replacing the interior protective film
If damaged, cracked, dirty or damaged sockets, place your finger in the recess of the cassette, slide
the visor and bending sheet up until the edge / notch releases.
Cleaning
Helmet clean by wiping with a soft cloth. Regularly clean the surface of the cartridge. Do not use
aggressive cleaning solutions. Sensors and solar cells clean with a solution of soapy water and a
clean cloth, dry the surface with a clean cloth. Do not insert the cartridge into the water or other
solutions.
Storage
Balaclava Always store in a clean, dry place and protect it from moisture and extreme heat (min/max.
Storage temperature is -20
℃
~+ 70
℃
).
Variable shield control
Shading can be set from aperture 9 to 13 depending on the welding process and application.
Grinding function
The grinding mode is only for grinding and not for welding.
Sensitivity control
The light sensor can be adjusted by turning the adjusting screw / sensitivity knob right or left. In
general, rotating the screw to a higher sensitivity setting is a better choice for normal use. When the
hood is used in excess of ambient light or near another welding device, the better performance of the
hood can be achieved with a lower setting - by reducing the sensitivity with the adjusting screw.
Setting the delay
This control is designed to protect the eyes of the welder from sharp residual rays after welding.
Changing the setting of the delay setting screw will change the darkness change time from 0.1 second
(minimum) to 0.8 second (maximum). Maximum (0.8 second) is the recommended value when using
high current, when welding is still very clear after welding interruption, and in situations where the filter
may be temporarily blocked due to the welding arc.
Power supply
This helmet is powered by solar power and lithium batteries.
BEFORE WELDING ALWAYS TRY TO TEST THE CARTRIDGE!
The hood can be placed on the sunlight to charge the cell. When charging, the ADF cassette is
charging with a welding arc.
