7 - REMOVING AND PACKING THE AWNING
7.1 - Removing
ATTENTION
The awning must be taken down by qualified personnel.
ATTENTION
The awning must be taken down when closed.
7.2 - Packing
The awning must be packed complete with all its components except the brackets
which are fixed to the wall, which must be packed separately
.
IMPORTANT
After having taken down the awning, to protect it against possible blows and con-
sequent damage to its vital parts, the awning must absolutely be wrapped in good
packaging.
IMPORTANT
During packing it is necessary to pay particular attention to the delicate parts of the
awning (for example, the heads); these must be accurately protected with good pack-
aging.
IMPORTANT
Should it be decided not to use the awning for a prolonged period, it must be taken
down and packed and kept in a dry place, far from sources of heat, and sheltered from
atmospheric agents that might damage it.
Unscrew the screws under the brackets (see
ref. 32 fig.30) and raise the awning.
