Installation
Front panel
(12)IR: Infrared receiver
(13)DC Jack: for connection to 12V or 24V DC power supply
(14)AV1/AV2: Audio/Video signal input ports for external devices such as DVD, GPS etc.
(15)Reset : System reset
(16)RS-232 port: Communication port for system software upgrade.
Rear panel
(17)POWER: It is connected to either 12 V or 24 V in-car power supply
(18)IR IN: Port for connecting the infrared receiver extension dongle
(19)Status LEDs: When “Power” LED is on, it indicates the 12/24 volts power supply has been
successfully applied to this device. If “Operation” LED is on, it indicates the Hawk Ranger
is receiving signals and delivering video normally.
(20)VIDEO OUT: It can be connected to other in-car displays to show the programs.
The
maximum number of the in-car displays is 3.
(21)AUDIO OUT: Two kinds of audio outputs, SPDIF (Digital) and Audio L/R, which can be
connected to in-car stereo amplifier inputs.
