General
∙ First, assemble the accessories needed for the task you
wish to undertake. Instructions for selecting accessories
are provided in the table at the beginning of the manual.
∙ The food processor is equipped with two safety
switches. This means that the appliance can only be
switched on when the appropriate accessories are
attached and correctly locked in place.
∙ After every use, switch off the appliance and wait for the
motor to stop before changing or removing accessories.
∙ Never fill higher than the Max markings for quantities
in the working container, mixing jug and grinding
attachment container, and apply the information
provided in the table at the beginning of the manual.
∙ The maximum operating times for each application are
provided in the table at the beginning of the manual.
∙ The appliance is equipped with an overheating
protection, which turns it off in the event of overheating.
If this happens, switch off the appliance, unplug the
power cord and wait for 30 minutes, until the appliance
has cooled down again.
A) Chopping
∙ Place the working container onto the motor unit, with the
handle to the right, and turn it clockwise until it locks into
place with a click ( → ).
∙ Place the drive shaft into the working container.
∙ Place the chopping tool onto the drive shaft and press
down as far as it will go.
Attention: Only touch the plastic parts of the chopping
tool. The blades are very sharp!
∙ Add your ingredients.
∙ Place the lid with the food pusher onto the working
container and turn it clockwise until it locks into place
with a click ( → ).
∙ Plug in and turn on the appliance.
∙ If you need to add more ingredients, remove the food
pusher briefly to do so.
B) Kneading
∙ Place the working container onto the motor unit, with the
handle to the right, and turn it clockwise until it locks into
place with a click ( → ).
∙ Place the drive shaft into the working container.
∙ Place the kneading tool onto the drive shaft and press
down as far as it will go.
∙ Add your ingredients.
∙ Place the lid with the food pusher onto the working
container and turn it clockwise until it locks into place
with a click ( → ).
∙ Plug in and turn on the appliance.
∙ If you need to add more ingredients, remove the food
pusher briefly to do so.
C) Grating, shredding, slicing & Julienne cutting
∙ First select the desired working disc. Each disc has
different functions on each side.

The name of each disc can be found on the black plastic
holder in the centre.
∙ Place the working container onto the motor unit, with the
handle to the right, and turn it clockwise until it locks into
place with a click ( → ).
∙ Place the drive shaft into the working container.
∙ Place the selected disc onto the drive shaft with the
desired function facing upwards.
∙ Place the lid onto the working container and turn
clockwise to lock ( → ).
∙ Plug in and turn on the appliance.
∙ Add ingredients by means of the feed tube.
Attention! Always use the appropriate food pusher
when adding ingredients by means of the feed tube.
D) Whipping cream & beating egg whites/Emulsifying/
Preparing dressings
∙ Place the working container onto the motor unit, with the
handle to the right, and turn it clockwise until it locks into
place with a click ( → ).
∙ Place the drive shaft into the working container.
∙ Place the emulsifying disc onto the drive shaft.
∙ Add your ingredients.
∙ Place the lid onto the working container and turn
clockwise to lock ( → ). Place the food pusher into
the feed tube.
∙ Plug in and turn on the appliance.
∙ If you need to add more ingredients, remove the food
pusher briefly to do so.
E) Mixing
∙ Place the mixing jug onto the motor unit and turn it
clockwise until it locks into place with a click ( → ).
∙ Add the ingredients, put the mixing jug lid on and turn
clockwise to lock ( → ).
∙ Insert the lid insert into the feed opening in the lid and
turn clockwise to lock ( → ). Never operate the
appliance without lid insert!
∙ Plug in and turn on the appliance.
∙ Attention: Never operate the mixer without any
ingredients in the container!
∙ Never put hot liquids into the container!
