Setting the time
Insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet.
None of the indicator lights will come on.
The coffee maker is switched off, the LCD
display showing
0:00
.
The internal clock uses a 24-hour display
format. The current time is set by using the
H
button for the hours, while the
M
button
is used to set the minutes.
Example:
The current time is 15.30 (3 pm).
- Press the
H
button repeatedly (or keep it
pressed for the necessary length of time)
until the LCD display shows
15:00
.
- Press the
M
button (or keep it pressed)
until the LCD display shows
15:30
.
Timer
To start the brewing process with a delayed
timer setting, the timer must be set to the
desired time.
- Press the button
PROG
and keep it
pressed. The LCD display shows-
BREW
and the time last entered, or

.
- While the
PROG
button is pressed, the
desired time can be set using the buttons

.
Afterwards, press the On/Off button once.
The red indicator light

Before using for the first time
Before making coffee for the first time, let
the appliance go through two or three
filtration cycles using the indicated
maximum amount of cold water, but without
using ground coffee. This should also be
done if the appliance has not been used for
an extended period of time, and after
descaling.
General information
- A measuring scale on the water
container and on the glass carafe
facilitates filling the container with the
correct amount of clean water. With a
dual-scale, the left scale is used for
regular-sized cups of approx.125ml, while
the right scale is used for smaller cups.
Make sure that the indicated maximum
amount of water is not exceeded.

If several consecutive brewing cycles are
required, switch off the coffee maker
after each cycle and let the appliance cool
down for approx. 5 minutes.

Important note:
When filling the
appliance with fresh water shortly after a
brewing cycle is completed, there is a
