WARNING!
The appliance will run and heat up for as long as it is plugged in, so beware of the
risk of burns.

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and leave it to cool down for 1 hour.
▪
Dry the appliance before each subsequent use.
▪
Remove the hotplate, then the control unit and the resistor, then the tray.
▪
Do not use scourers or scouring powder as this may damage the cooking surface.
▪
The grill (6) is dishwasher-safe.

Collecting tray (5) - Each time the barbecue is used, check that there are no build-ups of
grease in the collecting tray. Remove any excess grease using a plastic scraper. Wash the
collecting tray with warm soapy water, then rinse with clean water.

Lid interior (8) - When the lid is still warm, wipe clean with paper towels in order to prevent any
build-up of grease. Grease flakes have a similar appearance to paint flakes. Do not use cleaning
products containing acids, mineral spirits or xylene. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning.

Avoid allowing grease to accumulate in the cooking vessel (4). Clean the cooking vessel (4)
regularly to prevent grease building up. Improper maintenance may result in grease fires, which
can cause serious injury and even death, as well as damage to property.

To clean the outside of the appliance, use a damp sponge and dry thoroughly.
▪
When the electric barbecue is not in use, the thermostat should be set to the ‘off’ position and must
be UNPLUGGED and stored indoors.
▪
Always ensure that the appliance is cool and dry before storing it.
▪
Store the barbecue indoors to protect against any damage from humidity.
