7.4 To interrupt the answer machine
Simply start typing to answer a call that is coming in when the answering machine is
recording text.
Switching on your answering machine from another phone.
If you forget to switch on your answering machine when you go out:
• Ring your TextLink Textphone number. The answering machine will switch on after 20
rings and start connecting.
• Hang up. Your answering machine is now on.
7.5 New message indicator
When you have new messages on your answering machine:
• the incoming calls light flashes every four seconds.
• display shows the number of new messages eg. Calls: 3.
