To use the F1 – F7 buttons stored as Quick Menu options
When you want to go straight to the menu option you have stored as a Quick Menu
Press the F1 – F7 function button you want.
Your TextLink Textphone sets the menu option stored.
11 Emergency Functions
11.1 Emergency Number
The Emergency button lets you call the emergency services via the Typetalk operator just by
pressing a single button.
11.2 How to dial the Emergency Number
Press and hold the red
until the light flashes.
The number is being dialled.
Either answer the text questions from the Typetalk operator.
Or, if you do not type anything within 4 seconds, your TextLink Textphone will send
your Emergency Memo, providing one is stored.

Typetalk recommend that your Emergency Memo contains your name and phone
number.
