CLEANING

WARNINGS

Always unplug the kettle from the power socket and allow to cool completely before 

cleaning or storing.

Never immerse any part of the mains cable, power base or kettle in water or any  

other liquid.

Cleaning and Maintenance

•  Check that the plug is disconnected from the wall outlet.

•  Do not use in flammable or corrosive substances, abrasive pads, detergents or 

vinegar. Otherwise you risk damaging the appliance.

•  Clean the electric kettle interior using tap water and exterior with a dry cotton 

cloth. Do not use water to clean the appliance exterior, do not put it in to water 

or wash it under the tap.

•  Clean the base with a dry cotton cloth. Do not use water to clean the base, do 

not put it into water or under the tap.

•  Clean the filter if necessary by carefully removing it. When you finish cleaning 

the filter, replace it correctly.

•  Do not wash the appliance or its single components in the dishwasher,  

otherwise you risk damaging it and making it dangerous to use again.
