Adjusting the settings of the audio codec
If one of the following codecs is active via an input source, you can
adjust the codec settings in the Sennheiser Smart Control app:

Dolby
•
DTS
•
MPEG-H

Loudness
Manage-

If you activate “Loudness Management” via the soft-
ware switch, the volume of background noise/back-
ground music is reduced to make dialog tracks more
audible.
Dynamic
Range
Control
Compress the dynamics of the audio signal to com-
pensate for differences between quiet and loud pas-
sages.
•
OFF: The audio signal is not compressed.
•
High: The audio signal is strongly compressed.
•
AUTO: The audio signal is compressed automati-
cally. Changes in volume are noticeable during
playback.
Dolby
Virtualizer
Activate “Dolby Virtualizer” via the software switch
to play back Dolby audio content unchanged.
If you activate “Dolby Virtualizer”, you cannot use
the following settings and functions:
•
Sound profiles
•
AMBEO
•
Equalizer
•
Room calibration data (as long as a “Dolby Virtu-
alizer” is activated, the data obtained during
room calibration will not be used during Dolby
Audio content playback).

Use the software switch to activate upmixing of DTS
audio content to create an immersive surround
experience, even when only a stereo signal is pres-
ent at the input source.
Dynamic
Range
Control
Compress the dynamics of the audio signal to com-
pensate for differences between quiet and loud pas-
sages.
To do so, move the slider between “OFF” and “100
%”.
•
OFF: The audio signal is not compressed.
•
100 %: Loud passages become quieter, quiet pas-
sages become louder.
Dialog
Control
Move the slider to reduce the volume of background
noise/background music and make dialog tracks
more audible.
