TROUBLE-SHOOTING
Before contacting an authorised service centre, check the following:

Solution
The vacuum
cleaner does not
work.
1 The plug is not connected to the socket
properly.
2 The vacuum cleaner is not turned on.
3 The heat safety fuse has interrupted the
vacuum cleaner's operation.
1 Connect the plug to the socket properly.
2 Turn the vacuum cleaner on using the
main switch.
3 Once the motor has cooled the vacuum
cleaner will turn on once again.
The suction power
is weakening.
1 The hose or tube is clogged.
2 The dust bag is full.
3 The motor or output fi lter is clogged, the
tubes are not connected properly.
1 Remove the obstacles.
2 Replace the paper bag or clean the textile
bag.
3 Clean
the
fi lter and reconnect the tubes.
The electric cord
does not retract.
The electric cord might be caught or
tangled up.
Pull out the electric cord a little bit more and
try to retract again. If necessary, repeat this
several times.
The electric cord
can not be pulled
out.
The electric cord might be caught or
tangled up.
Retract the electric cord as much as possible
and try to pull it out again with the help of
the button for retraction and pull out once
again. If necessary, repeat this several times.
The electric cord
automatically
retracts itself.
The retraction brake might be damaged.
Pull the cord several times. If it keeps
retracting automatically, contact an
authorised service centre.
The suction
power can not be
regulated.
Defect in regulation of suction power.
Turn the vacuum cleaner on and off several
times. If the problem persists, contact an
authorised service centre.
The front cover will
not close.
There is no bag in the vacuum cleaner or
the cover is deformed.
Insert the proper bag, and if that does not
help, contact an authorised service centre.
The indicator for
dust bag fullness
is red.
The tube might be clogged, full bag or the
fi lter may be clogged with impurities.
Remove the obstacles. Clean or replace the
bag. Clean the motor and output fi lter.
