TIPS FOR HIGH QUALITY IRONING
Some tips to make your ironing easy
If you are ironing fabrics made from mixed materials (e.g. 40% wool, 60% synthetic material) ), set the
temperature according to the material that requires lower temperature.
If you do not know the type of fabric, test the temperature on the inside of the fabric. Start with lower
temperature and increase it gradually until you reach the ideal temperature.
Never iron surfaces with sweat, blood or other spots: the temperature cooks the spot in and you may not
be able to remove it later.
To prevent glossy look of synthetic, silk or cotton fabrics iron them on the inside only.
To prevent glossy look of velvet fabrics, iron them only in one direction (the fi bre direction) and do not press
hard on the iron.
The more clothing you wash in one load the more wrinkled the clothing comes out. Too wrinkled clothing
may be due to too high speed that is needed for the drying cycle.
Many materials can be iron easier if wet little bit (for example silk).
