General Safety Notes
Important safety notes for installation and operation!
For safety of persons, it is important that these instructions be complied with. Wrong
operation and installation may cause severe injury.
These original operating instructions must be kept.
The following items must be considered:

The applicable laws, standards and provisions
•
Country-specific conditions
•
The provisions of the coal energy supply companies and the provisions on wet rooms according to VDE 0100
•
The safety notes of DIN EN 60335
•
The state of the art at the time of the installation
•
These original operating instructions and the operating instructions for connected components
The
iveo Heat Connect
must only be connected by authorised specialists. The system must be powered down
when installing or servicing. For installation, maintenance or repair of the
iveo Heat Connect
, disconnection
from the mains with at least 3 mm contact opening width per pole must be provided for on all poles (DIN EN
60335). Safety measures against inadvertent activation must be taken.
Before installation of the
iveo Heat Connect
, all lines not needed must be removed and any facility that is not
required for operation with power drive must be put out of operation.
The operating instructions are part of the device and the warranty conditions. They must be provided to the
electrician and the user.
The
iveo Heat Connect
must be reviewed for signs of wear and damage frequently. Check the
iveo Heat
Connect
and the entire system for damage. If damaged, the
iveo Heat Connect
must not be taken into
operation.
The
iveo Heat Connect
must only be connected when powered down. To connect the
iveo Heat Connect
to
heatings and/or light systems, use only plug connections from the current SELVE catalogue or original
Hirschmann plug connections (www.beldensolutions.com).
Rated output and activation duration must be coordinated with the requirements of the connected product. The
technical data can be taken from the rating plate of the drive.
Keep children, unauthorised persons and persons with limited physical, mental or sensory abilities away from the
system and particularly the programmed transmitters. When operating the transmitters, you must be able to
view the areas of the devices connected to the
iveo Heat Connect
.
When installing the iveo Heat Connect, the relevant provisions of the energy suppliers and the VDE and the
employers' liability insurance association must be observed.
Damage from wrong handling, wrong wiring, application of force, third-party manipulation of the electronics
and/or subsequent changes to the iveo Heat Connect, as well as non-observance of the safety notes and
resulting consequential damage are not subject to warranty.
Use only unchanged SELVE genuine parts and accessories. For this, please observe the current SELVE catalogue
and the SELVE website www.selve.de.
