10. Call features
10.1. Management of the call
The following instructions describe the basic operations to handle a call; NETfon 50 SIP has more
accounts.
Some of the operations described are subject to programming by the administrator of the system.
To:
You have to:
Make a phone call
• lift the handset + dial the telephone press MENU/ENTER
or
• press speakerphone
dial the telephone
press MENU/ENTER
or
• dial the telephone press MENU/ENTER
or
• lift the h directly press the button programmed with the
number required.
Note
: For outgoing trunk calls, the telephone number must be preceded
by the generic trunk line access number (i.e. 0).
Make a phone call and
automatic selection of the
dialled number
• lift the handset + dial the telephone wait for the timeout of
the timer programmed by the administrator (few seconds) for sending the
automatic selection
or
• dial the telephone wait for the timeout of the timer
programmed by the administrator (few seconds) for sending the
automatic selection
Note
: For outgoing trunk calls, the telephone number must be preceded
by the generic trunk line access number (i.e. 0).
Make a phone call in
headset mode(1)
• dial the telephone press MENU/ENTER
or
• directly press the button programmed with the number required.
Note: For outgoing trunk calls, the telephone number must be preceded by the
generic trunk line access digit (i.e. 0).
Make a phone call from
private directory
• press
button, scroll with UP and DOWN arrows, select “Local Tel.
Book” and and press MENU/ENTER button
• scroll the name/number with UP and DOWN arrows
• select the name by pressing MENU/ENTER key
• make the phone call by pressing MENU/ENTER key
Make a direct call from a
function key
• press the function previously associated with a number of your local
phone book (option

), to start a direct call
End a phone call
• on-hook the handset
or
• press speakerphone
button (from handsfree mode)
or
• press ESC to exit.
