ENGINE OIL MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
Be sure to check and change the oil at the time required by the regular maintenance
chart. Be sure to use the recommended engine oil. The oil filter must also be
changed every time the oil is changed. Pay attention to the oil level. An increase in
the oil level during cold weather can indicate contaminants collected in the oil sump
or crankcase. If the oil level starts to rise, change the oil immediately. Monitor the
oil level, if it continues to rise, stop using it and determine the cause. Your Segway
dealer can assist.

Vehicle operation with insufficient, degraded or contaminated
engine oil will cause accelerated wear and tear, and may
result in engine failures, accidents and/or injuries. Always
perform the maintenance procedures listed in the periodic
maintenance chart.
Oil Recommendation
The oil filter must be changed every time the oil is changed.
It is recommended to use 10W/40-SJ four-cycle oil or similar oil for this engine.
Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for ambient temperature operation.
Please refer to the lubricant guide section for fluid recommendations, capacity.
