11-2 CLEANING THE CRT SURFACES

• Rem�ve smea�s b� usng a d��, s�ft cl�th (flannels, etc.). D� n�t use a c�a�se gauze,
etc.
• F�� smea� �em�vng s�lvent, alc�h�l (ethan�l) s �ec�mmended. When usng chemcal
dete�gent, be su�e t� f�ll�w nst�uct�ns bel�w:
- Dlute chemcal dete�gent wth wate� and dp a s�ft cl�th n and then th���ughl�
w�ng t t� wpe smea�s �ff.
- D� n�t use a chemcal dete�gent c�ntanng an ab�adant, p�wde� �� bleachng agent.
- D� n�t use al�alne chemcal dete�gents such as "glass cleane�" avalable �n the
ma��et �� s�lvents such as thnne�, etc.
• D� n�t �ub �� sc�atch the CRT face wth ha�d tems such as b�ushes, sc�ub b�ush, etc.
