SysZERO
Empty belt profile recording.
(Select current tare as new zero - reference point, record and memorize belt profile and set
flowrate indication to zero).
- Yes
- No
When initiated, the system will record the belt profile for 3 belt revolutions and reset parameter
“
Load
” and “
Tare
” to 0. New values for parameters “
CutOff
” and “
AutZMax
” will be calculated
if the same are set to 0 before start of recording.
TotZero
Zero setting of the totaliser “Total”. This totaliser is not resettable from the front panel, but is
intended as a master total.
- Yes
- No
SPAN ADJUST ->
This menu contains adjustment parameters for change of flowrate indication and totalisers.
Adjustment should only be carried out when the totalising results of the belt weigher can be safely verified,
and the mechanical installation is checked and adjusted for, according to the manual of the weighing unit.
Cur.Adj=
Current span adjustment in %
Default value: 100% after initial start-up procedure.
Val Now=
Current start value.
Default value: Monitored weight on load cell when entering “
SPAN ADJUST
” menu.
Note! Any tare weight will also be included.
New Val=
Enter value corresponding to the desired span adjustment.
Default value: The same value as for “
Val Now
”
Change
Initiates calculation between “
Val Now
=” and “
New Val
=” and adjustment of
“
Cur.Adj
=” with resulting change in %
- Yes
- No
Span adjustment can be performed in different ways:
- Putting a dead weight on the weighing unit / units.
- Material test by running a known quantity of material over the belt scale.
- Adjustment in % when a known verified deviation is already at hand by experience or previous tests.
Example 1, adjustment with dead weights
:
- Dead weight adjustment must be performed with the belt stopped.
- Check any tare weight of parameter “
Load
” and make a note of the value if not 0.
- Hung a suitable dead weight (20-100% of load cell capacity) on the idlers of the weighing unit.
if the belt scale consists of several weighing units, dead weights must be hung on all weighing units
simultaneously, for correct reading.
- Enter menu “
SPAN ADJUST
” and check value for “
Val Now
”. “
Val now
” will indicate the read
weight value of the load cell / weighing unit without decimals plus any tare weight.
For example, if 20kg is hung on the idler set, “
Val Now
” may indicate 2015 or something close to
20.00kg. Any noted tare weight of parameter “
Load
” must be deducted from the value 2015.
For example if the value for “
Load
” was 11 (00,11kg) the correct value for “
Val Now
” would be
2015 - 11 = 2004 (Net weight). “
Val Now
” must be changed to the value 2004 in this example.
- If the entered weight of “
Val Now
” differs from the actual dead weight on the weighing unit, enter
the correct value in the parameter “
New Val
”. In this example, “
New Val”
should be changed to 2000.
- Initiate change by selecting “
Yes
” for parameter “
Change
”.
You will now find that parameter “
Val Now
” has changed to your entered value for “
New Val
”.
“
Cur.Adj
” has also changed to reflect the resulting adjustment in %.
Note that the indicated resolution (no. of digits) 2015 in this example may be different depending on
