Adjusting the grind
NOTE!
Adjust the grind only while the appliance is grinding the coff ee beans otherwise the
grinder may be damaged.
1. Brew the coff ee with coff ee beans, see chapter 5.1 – BREWING COFFEE WITH
COFFEE BEANS
2. Wait until the device grinds the coff ee beans.
3. Adjust the desired grind using the stepless grind regulator (16).
Turning the knob towards ‘-’ will grind the coff ee fi ner.
Turning the knob towards ‘+’ will grind the coff ee coarser.
We recommend to set for a light roast a fi ne grinding, with a dark roast a coarse grinding
is ideal. Information on the roast can be usually found on the coff ee bean packaging.
5.2 Brewing coff ee with ground coff ee
1. Open the swing-out fi lter (5) with the opening button (11).
2. Place the permanent fi lter (2) into the fi lter insert (3).
3. Fill ground coff ee into the permanent fi lter (2). For fi lling use the supplied
measurement scoop (7).
We recommend the following dosage:

4. Place the fi lter cover (1) onto the fi lter insert (3).
5. Close the swing-out fi lter (5).
6. Fill the coff ee pot (6) with cold water to the mark of the desired number of cups.
One cup is approx. 125 ml.
