OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place the kettle on a stable, fl at surface and away from the edge.
2. Lift the kettle from the base and remove the lid. 
3. Fill the kettle with cold water until it reaches the MAX line on the WATER LEVEL DISPLAY 

and secure the lid in place.

4. Place the kettle on the base and plug the power cord into an outlet to put the kettle into 

Standby Mode. The kettle will beep once, the START/CANCEL button will turn blue and 

the LED DISPLAY will show the current water temperature.

5. Following the directions below, use the TEMPERATURE SELECTION, KEEP WARM, 

QUICK BOIL and/or START/CANCEL buttons on the handle for the desired function.

NOTE: 

For your convenience, the kettle's SMART MEMORY feature stores the last 

selected temperature even when disconnected from power supply.  

QUICK BOIL Function

Brings a full kettle of water (1L) to a boil in approximately 6 minutes.

With the kettle in standby mode:
1. Press QUICK BOIL followed by START to begin the boiling process. The START button 

will change from blue to red.

2. Once the water comes to a full boil, the kettle will beep once and the START button will 

change back to blue to indicate the kettle has switched to Standby Mode.

Heat

 

Heats the water to one of 8 pre-set temperatures.

With the kettle in standby mode:
1. Press TEMPERATURE SELECTION to display the last selected temperature. If needed, 

continue pressing until you reach the desired temperature.

2. Press START to begin the heating process. The START button will change from blue to 

red.

3. When the water reaches the selected temperature, the kettle will beep once and the 

START button will change back to blue to indicate the kettle has switched to Standby 

Mode.

4. To reheat the water when in Standby Mode, press TEMPERATURE SELECTION and then 

press START.

• Press START/CANCEL once to cancel the heating process.
• If you select a water temperature that is lower than the current water temperature, the 

unit will immediately beep once and enter Standby Mode.
