The SD-231-ND1Q Electro-Mechanical Latch is designed for pedestrian gates or doors and can be
triggered by an access control system, by key from outside, or by manually turning the knob from
inside. It can be mounted on both in-swing and out-swing doors, and is also non-handed.

NOTE:
For in-swing gates/doors, mount the lock body on the door. For out-swing doors, mount the
lock body on the gate/door frame. Note the offset mounting so that the strike pin clears the
frame/gate when opening (see Fig. 1).
