Attach the lid to the housing again.
The rubber seal inside the lid may possibly fall out. Therefore, when
re-assembling the device, it may be helpful not to put the lid on the
housing but to take both parts upside down and then put the housing on
the lid.
Observe the following points:
•
The rubber seals and the surfaces of housing and lid which touch each other
must be free of dirt.
•
Ensure that the wires will not be pinched or clamped.
•
Be careful not to jam the housing parts against each other.
•
Tighten the screws in a crosswise sequence.
•
Tighten the screws finger-tight (1 Nm). Do not overtighten!

Reset of the battery counter
After a battery replacement has taken place, the internal 'battery counter' of the device
must be reset. Otherwise, the actual battery level cannot be recognized by the logger
and stated in the SDV-3 properly.
The following requirements must be met:
•
computer with SebaDataView-3 Software
•
a wireless interface must be connected to the computer (e.g. Log RI)
•
the logger must be registered to the SebaDataView-3
Proceed as follows:

The logger needs to be turned on.

Open the SDV-3 software.

In the directory tree, right-click on the relevant logger.

In the context menu, select the
Reset battery counter
option.

Confirm the message on the screen with
OK
.
Result:
The command is sent to the logger and executed. Subsequently, a
success message appears on the screen.
