You do not need to unlock the set elec-
tronically!
Should the code numbers not coincide,
for instance if the car audio has been fit-
ted on a different car then obviously the
set must be encoded manually.

After connection "SAFE" will show on the
display screen if the anti-heft encoding
has failed to lock the set electronically
due to e.g.: battery unplugging or fuse
failure.
Electronic locking can be switched off by
entering the c
co orrrre ec ctt code.
The following order must be followed to
do so:
•
Switch on the Car Audio. "SAFE" will
show on display.
•
"1000" will show on display about 3
seconds later.
•
With the help of pre-tuning keys 1 to 4
enter the code attached to the radio card.
Key 1 is used to enter the first figure, key
2 for the second, etc.
•
Next press the rocker search key or the
manual tuning button for over 2 seconds.
Release button.
•
If the correct code has been entered
after some time a frequency will show up
automatically.
