With the car audio off and the key out of
the ignition, this warning light reminds us
it is a car audio set with anti-theft protec-
tion encoding activated.

The RDS (R Radio D Data S System) allows for
the name of the station being played to
appear on display, e.g.: "RNE 2".
Up to now during long trips radio tuners
had to be adjusted manually to the sta-
tion with the strongest signal and quite
frequently with poor reception.
Now, the RDS selects the best available
frequency a
au utto om ma attiic ca alllly y from a list of
alternative frequencies. While this
process is taking place it is almost inaudi-
ble.
In this way, even in the worst conditions
