4.1.   

 

Screw the siphon pump onto the threaded fitting at the top of the container.

4.2. 

  

Push the universal adaptor into the top of the top of the container.

4.3. 

  

Push the required probe into the inlet hole on the top of the universal adaptor, see fig.2, until tight. For maximum length, the 5mm  

 

probe can be connected to the end of the 8mm probe.

5.  OpERATION

5.1. 

  

Before attempting to extract any fluid, ensure that the machine 

to be worked on has stopped and is secured against restarting.

5.2. 

Be aware that engine oil and other fluids may be hot, and take precautions.

5.3.   

 

feed the probe into the appropriate access point (e.g. dip tube)

5.4. 

  

Ensure that the tip of the probe is immersed fully into the fluid.

5.5. 

  

Pump the handle repeatedly until a vacuum is created in the container.

5.6. 

  

continue to pump as required. 

5.7.    

As the container fills, stop pumping

 

and monitor the level of fluid in the container.

 

The pump assembly will be damaged if fluid is    

 

drawn into it.

5.8. 

  

To transport fluid, remove the pump and probe from the container and seal opening securely with the anti-spill cap

5.9. 

  

to empty the container, remove the universal adaptor and pour the contents away. 

5.10. 

A

lways dispose of waste fluids responsibly and in accordance with local authority regulations.

6.  MAINTENANCE

6.1. 

  

clean the unit with warm, soapy water only. the probes may be cleaned by drawing through warm soapy water.

6.2. 

  

dry before storage.

6.3. 

  

regularly check for damage and replace damaged parts as necessary.

6.4. 

  

store in a secure, dry, childproof location when not in use.
