Fluorescent tubes mounted in an impact resistant head. The light
unit is supported on an integral stand. Fitted with a twin socket
outlet. Supplied with 5mtr lead.

WARNING!
Before replacing the fluorescent tubes or performing
any maintenance the unit must be unplugged from the mains.
Allow the tubes to cool before touching them.
WARNING!
Do not turn the unit on with the transparent cover
removed or with the tubes removed.
4.1
ChANGING ThE FLUORESCENT TUBES
4.1.1 Replacement tubes must be the same type and rating as the
original tubes supplied.

4.1.2 Remove the transparent cover by releasing the securing clips by
first pulling the rear of the clip forward, then unlatching the clip
from the front ridge (as shown in fig 1). Now carefully lift the
cover off.
4.1.3 Each tube can be removed by rotating it in either direction until
one of the connector pins appears at the top of the tube holder
slot. Lift out the old tube and replace it with a new one. Push the
new tube all the way into the tube holder slots at both ends and
then rotate the tube a quarter of a turn in either direction.
4.1.4 Ensure that the tubes are correctly installed and seated before
turning on.
4.2
CLEANING
4.2.1 Clean the unit with a damp cloth and a mild soapy solution. Do
not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
3.1
OPERATING ThE LIGhT
3.1.1 To operate the light plug the mains socket into a 110V
transformer and then plug the transformer into the mains,
the light will illuminate automatically.
3.2
OUTLETS
3.2.1 The light unit is fitted with two outlet sockets, these are
suitable for any power tool/appliance compatible with the
transformer output.
Note:
Total load of both sockets, plus the light,
must not
exceed
the transformer output
