  5.  mainTenanCe 

    

warning! Be sure to disconnect the lamp from the power supply before carrying out any maintenance.

5.1 . 

general  mainTenanCe

5.1.1.  Keep the lamp clean.

5.1.2.  check cable for any signs of wear. If the cable is worn/broken, remove the lamp from service immediately and have it repaired by a 

 

qualified electrician. 

5.2. 

replaCing neOn TUBe (see below)

 

nOTe: Use only sealey replacement neon tubes, part no: ml11/12/B.

 

5.2.1.  disconnect from the power supply.

5.2.2.  remove end cap from the outer plastic tube.

5.2.3.  Pull the neon tube holding wire to gently pull the neon tube from its plug and out of the casing.

 

nOTe: Use caution when handling a tube and dispose of in accordance with local authority guidelines.

5.2.4.  Attach the neon tube retaining assembly to the top of the replacement tube (as per the diagram below).

5.2.5.  Place the replacement neon tube into the outer casing and locate the neon tube into its fittings in the lamp base.

5.2.6.  re-fit the end cap.
