5.9.10 Mounting of eccentric shaft XP-M

• Position the eccentric shaft.
• Mount the three self-locking nuts M6.
• Carefully mount brush console.
Take care when positioning the brush console that it does not tilt.
• Turn the brush unit up side down.
• Mount the bevel gears and the screws.
Service
Fix the screws (09/104) of the bevel gears with adhesive locking (09/
160).
Lubricate brush console bearings (09/134) and eccentric shaft (09/
124) with ball bearing grease (04/164) as a water-repellent.
• Mount the hoses.
Take care that you assemble the longer hose (05/121) on the RH of
the brush unit.
• Mount the hose clamps.
• Complete assembling the brush belt according to the chapter
MOUNTING OF BRUSH BELT & BRUSH MOTOR XP-M.
• Complete assembling the synchronisation according to the
chapter MOUNTING OF SUPPORT WITH BEARING
(SYNCHRONISATION) XP-M.
• Complete assembling the brush unit according to the chapter
MOUNTING OF COMPLETE BRUSH UNIT XP-M.
