1.11 Auto-park
Upon power-down, the read/write heads automatically move to the
shipping zone. The heads park inside the maximum data cylinder. When
power is applied, the heads recalibrate to track 0.

1.13 FCC verification
The ST3295A and ST3660A drives are intended to be contained solely
within a personal computer or similar enclosure (not attached to an
external device). As such, a drive is considered to be a subassembly
even when individually marketed to the customer. As a subassembly, no
Federal Communications Commission authorization, verification or cer-
tification of the device is required.
Seagate Technology, Inc. has tested these drives in an enclosure as
described above to ensure that the total assembly (enclosure, disc drive,
motherboard, power supply, etc.) does comply with the limits for a
Class B computing device, pursuant to Subpart J of Part 15 of the FCC
rules. Operation with noncertified assemblies is likely to result in interfer-
ence to radio and television reception.
