The EEPROM cannot be read or written.

The EEPROM directory cannot be read, or it is
corrupted.

The EEPROM contains an incompatible
version number.

The EEPROM contains an incompatible
revision number.
40 AC An EEPROM checksum error occurred.
40 AD The EEPROM contains invalid parameters.

The EEPROM is incompatible with the HDA
and the circuit board. The EEPROM must be
reconfigured.
