The asymmetrical spoon
blade design of this kayak
paddle will allow for a
smooth entry and an
even pull, maximizing the
power from each stroke.
They will also require less
gripping force.
Put the shaft together
first. Insert the shaft
piece with the button
into the piece with three
holes. Lock the button in
the middle hole.
Next, slide the drip
guards up the shaft to
about an inch above the
button hole. Insert the
blades into the shaft and
adjust until the button
locks the blade in place.
The additional holes in
the shaft are for
“feathering” the blades.
Blades can be offset 45°
from each other. This
makes paddling into a
stiff breeze easier as the
blade that is not in the
water will be able to slice
through the wind with
little resistance.
