should be cleaned and flushed thoroughly with
fresh water after each use.
The rope locker is in the center compartment be-
low the forward bow seat. The hatch is removable
and is secured in the closed position with flush,
twist lock latches. The rope locker drains over-
board by gravity through a fitting in the hull side.
Another storage compartment is located below
the cockpit sole between the bow seats. It pro-
vides additional storage for dunnage. The hatch
is equipped with a hatch lifter that holds it in the
open or closed position and a flush, twist lock
latch that secures the hatch in the closed posi-
tion. This compartment is drained by gravity to
the forward bilge.
There is a large red dot in the handle of the latch
that secures the below deck hatch that indicates
that the latch is in the open position and the hatch
is not secure. Always make sure the hatch is
closed with the latch in the secured position and
the handle folded flush to the deck before operat
-
ing the boat above idle speed.
11.4 Center Console & Cabin
Helm
The steering, engine controls, engine instruments
and switches for exterior equipment, navigation
lights and other 12 volt DC accessories are located
on the helm station and in the hardtop liner above
the helm. Molded-in electronics storage is located
forward of the engine controls. Air conditioning
ducts in the helm provides cooling to helm station
when the cabin air conditioner option is installed
and operating. Additional ventilation is provided
by vent panels above the windshield.
A molded in storage compartment for small items
with cup holders is located on the starboard side
of the helm station. A 12 volt accessory plug and
MP3 connection are also located in this compart-
ment.
Windshield
Your boat is equipped with a tinted glass wind-
shield and windshield wiper. The front and side
panels are tempered safety glass.
A windshield wiper and washer is optional equip-
ment. The windshield wiper should only be used
when the windshield is wet. The windshield glass
