information, see Instructions for Use of Scott
Safety filters.
Device with combined filter
The specified multiples of threshold value for the gas or particle filters
are given separately, but in all cases the lowest value applies
*) Provided that the maximum permissible detrimental gas concentration for the gas filter is not exceeded. For
non-powered filtering devices with gas filter, concentration must not exceed 0.1 vol.% in gas filter class 1 and 0.5
vol.% in gas filter class 2 and 1.0 vol.% in gas filter class 3.
**) If national guidelines exist: in all cases the lowest value applies.
Note! In Australia only, the following limitations apply:
Provides P3 protection only with a full face respirator (AS/ NZS 1716:2012 refers).
Provides P2 protection with a half face respirator negative pressure respirator

4. Use, and Donning
See Instructions for Use of the filter and the blower device to be used.
Check before use
intactness of facepiece, rubber parts and visor
head harness condition and elasticity
that speech diaphragm is in place
that exhalation valve is in place and that its cover is properly fastened
that inh. and exh. valves function properly
that the filter is correct for the intended use (filter type and class)
that storage period of the filter has not been exceeded
filter condition and intactness. Shake the filter to ensure that there are no loose components/contents. The
filter shall be replaced if it has been exposed to strong press or impact. It may be damaged, also by a fall on
a hard surface, also when attached to a mask / blower device.
