OPERATION: Water
Water enters the machine through the 3/8" male
flare at the rear of the cabinet, goes to a strainer
and then to the water reservoir which it enters
through the float valve. The water then goes out
the bottom of the reservoir tank to the bottom of
the evaporator.
Reservoir overflow or evaporator condensation is
routed to the drain. Water cooled models have a
separate water circuit for the cooling water: it
enters the fitting at the rear, goes to the water
regulating valve, then to the water cooled
condenser and down the drain.
Water Level: The correct water level should be
checked when the machine is making ice. Check the
water level in the reservoir and compare it to the
horizontal line molded into the side of the reservoir.
The correct level should be between
1
⁄
8
" above and
1
⁄
4
" below the line. If needed, bend the float arm up or
down to adjust the water level.
