The seal does not rest properly against the
segment jaws!
The gripper fingers have moved too far
toward the gripper centre!
The seal can collide with the workpiece
when entering the bore!
The seal is locally overextended!
The gripper fingers have not moved far
enough toward the gripper centre!
By moulding the seal between the segment jaws, the assembly
fingers and the segment jaws can enter the bore of the
workpiece with the moulded seal.
