Setting the proximity
switch

Proximity switch setting
NOTE
Distance Z, between the operating cam and the upper edge of the
proximity switch, must not exceed 0.8 mm.
Position "Gripper closed" or "Gripper open"
Ø
Bring gripper into the position in which it is to be set.
Ø
Push the Gripper open holder (7) together with the proximity
switch (3) to the right end of the holder (5).
Slowly move the holder (7) to the left so that the proximity
switch switches.
Ø
Gripper closedPush the holder (7) together with the proximity
switch (3) into the middle of the gripper, onto the left-hand end
of the holder (5).
Slowly move the holder (7) to the right so that the proximity
switch switches.
Ø
Tighten the screws (8) to clamp the holder (7) in this position.
Ø
Open the gripper and close it again in order to test its
functioning.
