6.3 Check for presence of sanding discs
NOTE
SCHUNK recommends teaching this process without a sanding
disc. This makes it possible to test the Velcro function.

The sander is in the starting position "HOME".
1. Move the backer pad over the media checker.
A = View from the side, B = View from above
2. Move the sander in the direction of the media checker until
the backer pad makes contact with the Velcro fastener.
Backer pad and media checker are in contact
3. Move the sander away from the media checker.
✓
The hard Velcro side on the backer pad and the soft Velcro
side on the media checker are separated.
✓
The LED on the sensor lights up
