must be pressed again.
l After a power failure you must press the start button
to continue the programme.
If the machine shows a function fault F – –:
u
Stop the programme with the Quick Wash button
and select a new programme.
In the event of repeated error messages:
u
Disconnect the electricity for approx. 1 minute and
then switch on again. (Withdraw the mains plug or
switch off the main building switch.)
u The machine is ready to operate once again when
the programme pilot lamps flash.
u Select a new programme.
If the error message still appears:
u
Make a note of the error message
u Switch off the water tap and withdraw the mains plug
or switch off the main building switch.
u Inform Customer Service.
Troubleshooting
Other minor faults, which you can rectify yourself.
Machine operation
Display is dark:
u The machine is in standby mode. No error. To ope-
rate the machine press any key.
The machine cannot be switched on, display remains
dark even after pressing a key:
u Check whether the mains power is switched on at
the wall and the plug is in.
u Check whether all the fuses are intact or the safety
switch has tripped.
u Mains blockage, generally at noon. Operate the
machine after the mains blockage has ended.
The machine does not start:
u The start button has not been pressed.
u Start time preselect has been set. Only starts at the
preselected start time.
Loading door cannot be opened:
u Programme not yet finished.
u «Rinsing stop» selected. No error; see chapter
«Washing/Ending the programme with rinsing stop».
u Mains blockage or appliance defect: see below.
Open the door in the event of a power failure or appli-
ance defect as follows:
u
Turn off the water tap
u Switch off the mains power supply.
u
Remove the rubber grommet to the left of the door
lock. Insert a screwdriver and press down.
l The loading door opens.
Check that the drum has come to a standstill, before
reaching into it!e Trommel stillsteht, bevor Sie in die
Trommel greifen!
Power failure :
u
After a power failure the programme will start auto-
matically or if you press the start button (according to
the settings of the machine parameters). It will restart
from the point at which the power failure occurred.
u
Disinfection programmes must be executed anew
from the very start.
