10.3 Transport to Working Position

Before operating the windrower, the windrower needs to be set to the working position. Follow the following
procedure:

Before putting the rock windrower into working position, be sure that the drum is locked into
transport position. Refer to the transportation section of this manual for complete drum lock
up instructions.

•

Raise wheel lock pins to the temporary
position.

•

Remove the wedge lock from the transport
cradle.

•

Store the wedge lock in the holder on the hitch
pole.

•

Drive the tractor ahead while turning the wheels
to the right.

•

Pivot the windrower until the hitch pole fits
securely into the working cradle.
