Positioning on the heat source
To guarantee optimum functioning of the cooking utensil, the base of the pot should be slightly larger
than the stove plate or correspond to its diameter. The appropriate stove plate diameter is indicated
on the base of the pot and/or on the coloured packaging. Always place the pot centrally on the
stove plate.
When the pressure cooker is used on an induction stove, please always consult the operating instruc-
tions of the stove manufacturer with regard to the correct positioning. If it is positioned incorrectly, this
could result in irreparable damages to the pressure cooker, for example the overheating of the side
walls due to induction currents.
Very important!
• Only use original Schulte-Ufer spare parts. Only then the function and safety of the
pressure cooker are assured. When your pressure cooker or parts thereof have been
damaged and do not function as described in the instructions for use, do not use the
pressure cooker. Immediately take up contact with your specialised dealer or Schulte-Ufer-
customer service.
• When brown discolouration is visible (e. g. cover sealing ring), replace wear and tear parts
with new original parts.
• Replace seals after 400 uses or 2 years.
• Replace cracked handles or handles that do not fit correctly.
• Do not use deformed or damaged pressure cookers (e. g. after falling) under any
circumstances. Please contact Schulte-Ufer customer service.
• Note that seal elements are wear parts that are excluded from warranty and guarantee.
Tools
In order to prevent the surface from being scratched, it is recommended that only tools made of
wood, plastic or silicone are used. Sharp edges on wood and plastic spatulas may also cause
scratches.
