Schüco MPE modules in the AL series can be
interconnected in two different ways:
connecting up to a generator junction box
(diagram A):
The individual module strings are fed into the
generator junction box together and connected in
parallel. The positive poles are protected with line
fuses.
9. Circuit configuration
connection using the Schüco parallel string
interconnection system (diagram B):
The individual module strings are connected in
parallel, fused and directly connected with the
inverter via prefabricated line fuses (PSI system).
A generator junction box is therefore not required.
WARNING
► When using connection systems other than
Schüco PSI systems or the Schüco generator
junction box, it must be possible to guarantee
that only a maximum of three module strings
can be connected without line fuses.
