9.1
Maintenance
Note
Observe all safety
instructions.

Maintenance work is only allowed to
be carried out by qualified and
instructed personnel.
9.1.1
Daily maintenance of the reciprocating saw
To ensure the longest possible service life and low wear and tear, the reciprocating saw must be checked and
serviced regularly.
Service and maintenance work must only be carried out by instructed personnel.
Only use genuine spare parts or spare parts recommended by
Schmid & Wezel GmbH
Maschinenfabrik.
Lubrication
After each cleaning, lightly grease the saw blade guide with EFA special grease (code 001365623).
9.1.2
Extended maintenance
– EFA SL 24 WB, EFA SL 50-18, EFA 63 and EFA 63 K
(after approx. 400 operating hours)
Seals
The seal on the switch cover must be checked for function during every maintenance.
Lubrication
Every 400 operating hours, use the grease gun to press 3 shots of grease through the grease nipples (X).
Every 1200 operating hours (at least once a year), remove the gear head from the motor and clean it
completely.
Grease all individual parts before assembly.
