6.2.1
Operation
Before use, check that the operating data of the mains and the device match up.
Attention!
Make sure the guide and the saw
blade are as straight as possible when
sawing.
Do not bend! Improper handling will
lead to increased wear!
Warning!
For safety reasons, EFA
reciprocating saws must be
held with two handles.
Never work one-handed!
EFA SL 50-18, EFA 67
and
EFA 69
Hold the reciprocating saw securely by both handles and switch on.
Guide it into the carcass while it is running.
Kick-back can occur when touching on bone.
Only remove the saw from the carcass while it is running and only switch it off afterwards.

Operational safety
For safety reasons, EFA reciprocating saws must be held with two handles.
Never work one-handed!
Do not carry the saw by the switching handle, it could start unintentionally.
Be especially careful when switched on.
Do not remove protective devices from the saw.
Do not tilt or jam the saw blade.
Never reach into the area of the saw blade when it is switched on.
Do not put the device down until the saw has come to a halt (run-down time approx. 3 seconds).
For safer handling (guiding), the saw must be suspended from a spring balancer,
see section 5.1.1 Spring
balancer

Regularly check the suspension for damage.
