1.Install G B L - 4 SS ground lug per diagram , use #10-32 mounting hardware.
2.Apply a liberal amount of c onductor on front and back side of module fra m e at mounting hole.
Although not required, Schletter strongly re co m m e nd the use of conductor c ompound between the
mounting surface s in order to better protect the c onnection in all environmental c onditions and pro m o te
c onnection longevity.
3. For GB L - 4 SS , apply 35 in-lbs mounting torque to #10 mounting bolt.
4. Apply a liberal amount of c onductor c ompound in wireway of ground lug
5.Install ground c onductor in lug and torque wire screw to the following:
6 AW G : 35 in-lbs.
8 AW G : 25 in-lbs.
10 - 14 AW G : 20 in-lbs.
*Flat washer and split washer are not required

G B L - 4 SS . is suitable for use with flat-surfaced anodized aluminum or galvanized steel
designated G 9 0 minimum . T h e acc eptable mounting hole diameter is 0.196 inches

T he acc eptable framing material thickness is a minimum of 0.062 inches (1.57mm)
to 0.250 inches (6.35mm), with a flat surface are of no less than 34 by 12mm (botto m
of the lug).

FixGrid mounting sy stem is to be only in c ombination with listed PV-modules
that include the specific rack sy stem in their installation manual. Refer to the
approved module list for the listing PV-modules which can be used in c o m -
bination with the FixGrid.
