Rechargeable battery pack
The aerosonic® travel ultraso-
nic nebuliser can be operated
using a rechargeable battery
pack.
Note
• The battery pack must be
charged at least 24 hours be-
fore it is used for the first time
and recharged for that length
of time after it has been stor-
ed unused for a longer peri-
od. After use it should be re-
charged for 4 to 12 hours,
depending on how long the
unit has been used for.
• The charging current is kept
to the lowest value to pro-
long the life of the battery
pack. It is therefore recom-
mended that the battery pack
be recharged every time it is
used, and overnight where
possible.
a. Plug the power supply unit
into a mains socket.
b. Plug the 12 V plug of the pow-
er supply unit into the socket on
the underside of the recharge-
able power pack (Fig. 1). The re-
charging process is indicated by
the green operating lamp next
to the power socket of the re-
chargeable battery pack.
• A fully-charged battery pack
will supply the unit with enough
power for 20 – 30 minutes of
continuous operation.
Re-charging of the battery pack
Note the following when using
the rechargeable battery pack
• Only use the battery pack in
conjunction with the aero-
sonic® travel nebuliser and
not for any other purpose.
• Do not store the battery pack
in direct sunlight, at higher
temperatures or under high
air humidity.
• Do not place the battery pack
on metal parts, wet surfaces
or in a metal container as it
may result in short-circuiting
of the positive and negative
poles.
• Ensure that the unit and its
accessories are stored out of
the reach of small children.
• Always store the unit and
battery pack with the plugs
removed if the unit is not in
use.
