Noise parameters
The noise emission values determined in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3746 for the sound power level and
EN ISO 11202 for the sound pressure level at the workplace are based on the working conditions listed in
Appendix A of ISO 7904.
Sound power level in dB
Idle running LWA = 96,4 dB(A) – Operation LWA = 99,7 dB(A)
Sound pressure level at the workplace in dB
Idle running LpAeq = 80,5 dB(A) – Operation LpAeq = 83,7 dB(A)
A uncertainty allowance of K=4dB is made for the emission values listed
Note
The values specified here are emission values and do not therefore necessarily represent definite workplace
values. As there is no correlation between emission values and workplace values, they cannot be reliably
used to determine whether any further precautions need to be implemented. Factors that may influence the
current workplace value include the duration of exposure, the nature of the workroom, other noise sources,
the number of machines and other related influences. The reliable workplace values may also vary from
place to place. This information is intended to enable users to make a better assessment of danger and risk.
